Raj : First of all thanks for your participation in this interview Priyanka.
Priyanka : Thanks for giving me this opportunity Raj.
Raj : So Let's Start !
Priyanka : Yeah
Raj : "What connected you from this sport ?"
Priyanka : I just love this sport. I am not an old fan ! Actually I started watching cricket since my childhood but fall in love from 2015 world cup! And yeah that was a turing point of my life, I choose to become a sports anchor !
Raj : OKAY, That's good That you wanna be a Sports Journalist. So Now My second question to you is - "What is your second favorite sport beside cricket and favourite sportsperson ?"
Priyanka : 2nd favorite sports is Badminton and in cricket I love Dhoni along with Rohit.
Raj : As you're a MI Fan, So My next question to you is - "Who is according to you the all time biggest match winner for Mumbai Indians and Why ?"
Priyanka : According to me each and everyone has contributed. But According to stats Whenever Rohit plays well Paltan sleep well !
Raj : You're absolutely right Priyanka. Rohit Sharma is having a immence impact in the success of MI since he joined the franchise in 2011. Now My next question to you is - "What makes MI something special or different from other franchises ?"
Priyanka : Their bonding, their atmosphere. Especially their support in ESFA. It's very beautiful to see a franchise and players are playing for those children in the ground. And I feel so proud of it.
Raj : That's why MI is Har Indian Ki Family. Now Tell me about your favorite IPL Memory ?
Priyanka : 2017 ipl final. After seeing MI's batting I literally switched off the TV and went to sleep. I was crying but suddenly my friend call me and said go and watch! And saw last 5 overs of the match! That last ball! It was really very special.
Raj : In next year Mega Auctions, What will be your picks for retention and RTM (For MI) ?
Priyanka : For Retention - Rohit, Bumrah amd Hardik. RTM - Ishan Kishan and Pollard.
Raj : Your views on your biggest IPL Rival CSK ?
Priyanka : The fact is I always want them to be in the loosing side but I also love Dhoni ! So my thought is 'Dhoni accha khele but CSK haar jaye'.
Raj : Your take on SRH Captaincy Change Saga ?
Priyanka : Dropping from Captaincy is OK but Dropping a player like him (warner) from playing XI is totally unfair. And I feel there was also no need to change the Captaincy.
Raj : Which MI youngster impressed you most during the last couple of years and why ?
Priyanka : Ishan Kishan - He's one of the promising youngster. Since he joined MI he has played his role brilliantly. No doubt he's very impressive.
Raj : Favorite Uncapped Indian Player ?
Priyanka : SKY was my favorite till last series of India ! Because deep down inside he deserved this one for this hard work. Devdutt Padikkal is one of my favorite uncapped Player.
Raj : Yesterday We got the news of Postponement of KKR vs RCB Match and now we got the news of transfer and rescheduling of all the IPL matches to Mumbai due to the bio bubble breach. So keeping in view the current situation. Should IPL be cancelled or not ?
Priyanka : I respect their decision but I think IPL is a major part of India and during this time this is the only source of entertainment. However, kudos to each and everyone who are playing who are broadcasting and all. Their bubble bio life is so different but still they're trying their best to keep us entertain. I don't think IPL should get canceled rather take necessary precautions you can stop few games and put all the players in quarantine for few days. I also think few margin of profit must be donated to fund care during this time.
Rohit : Yeah, Priyanka. You're right. In these tough times IPL is the only source of some entertainment and distraction from the negative environment all around. So BCCI should not cancel it. But let see what happens because the thing which is most important is the safety of our players. "Now I want to know about your predictions for this year IPL Playoffs ?"
Priyanka : RCB, CSK, DC and MI
