True Tactics - Cricket Talk #1
Guest - Shivam Bhardwaj
Raj : First of all thanks for your participation in this interview shivam. You're our first guest in this Interview series.
Shivam : Thanks Raj for giving me this golden opportunity to share my views on cricket here. Let's start.
Raj : What made you a Hitman - Rohit Sharma fan ?
Shivam : I became fan of his batting in 2013 CT series and after that mammoth 264 I became his Jabra Fan. I mean since Rohit started opening in 2013, he is according to me the best and consistent in every format of this game.
Raj : Ok, Now tell me What was the first ever cricket match you seen on television ?
Shivam : India's first league match in 2011 World Cup.
Raj : Ok, Now I want to know about your favorite IPL memory ?
Shivam : Fav. IPL Memory - MI vs CSK, 2019 Final. CSK needed 2 runs in last ball. Our heart beat became very very fast but Slinga Malinga has done it for MI and we won that match by 1 run. For me that moment was very special.
Raj : Well, Shivam that final ball has increased heartbeat of many MI fans. Now Tell me about your favorite Indian Cricket memory ?
Shivam : 2011 WC Win - As I said earlier, It was also the first time I have started to watching cricket and 2011 WC was very special and emotional for every Indian cricket fan. We won world cup after a long time (after 28 years). So It was the most memorable ICT moment for me and also for billions of Indian cricket fans.
Raj : You're absolutely right Shivam, 2011 WC holds a special place in the hearts of every Indian. Now I want to know about your view on 'Split Caitaincy' ?
Shivam : I believe that being a good batsman does not guarantee that you are also a good captain. Virat is no doubt the best batsmen but he is not a good captain. Rohit has far better captaincy skills than him and also he has proved it several times. So In my opinion Rohit is the man who can again win all the ICC trophies for us and he is the only one who can be the successor of legend Mahi Sir.
Raj : Some words on MS Dhoni ?
Shivam : He is the legend, best and very supportive man who gave opening slot to Rohit Sharma. I would say that he is the greatest captain in the history of world cricket.
Raj : Now at last I want to know about your all time India - ODI XI ?
Shivam : Rohit, Sachin, Virat, Yuvi, Raina, Mahi, Jadeja, Zaheer, Bumrah, Shami and Bhuvaneshwar.
Raj : Again I want to say a lot of thanks to you for participating in this interview. We'll soon have a next cricket chat for sure.
Shivam : Thanks Brother, It's my pleasure. Keep doing this.
